Turkey summons Russian envoy

Russian Ambassador to Ankara Vladimir Ivanovsky was summoned to the Turkish Foreign Ministry on Thursday with regard to the detained aircraft, flying from Moscow to Damascus, Anadolu news agency reported. Turkish Air Force fighters F16 forced the Syrian Airbus A-320, flying from Moscow to Damascus with 35 passengers, to land at the airport in Ankara. It was caused by the suggestion that there is a military cargo on the board of the airbus. Search on the board of the Syrian aircraft lasted about five hours.
