Russian Ambassador to Ankara Vladimir Ivanovsky was summoned to the Turkish Foreign Ministry on Thursday with regard to the detained aircraft, flying from Moscow to Damascus, Anadolu news agency reported. Turkish Air Force fighters F16 forced the Syrian Airbus A-320, flying from Moscow to Damascus with 35 passengers, to land at the airport in Ankara. It was caused by the suggestion that there is a military cargo on the board of the airbus. Search on the board of the Syrian aircraft lasted about five hours. As a result of the search parts to the radio stations used for military purposes were found. Then Turkey has given the permission to the Syrian aircraft to take off from Ankara, but has seized the cargo found on the board.
