Turkey\'s main opposition leader in TRNC

Chairman of main opposition Republican People\'s Party (CHP) Kemal Kilicdaroglu said, \"The Cyprus issue is the common politics of Turkish governments. We oversee that as a national cause.\" Kilicdaroglu who is in TRNC to hold formal talks with Turkish Cypriot officials, held a meeting with Hasan Bozer, the Parliament Speaker of theTurkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on Thursday in Lefkosa. Speaking to the members of the press after the meeting between him and Bozer, Turkish opposition party leader stated, they were uncomfortable with EU applying double standards. Kilicdaroglu said, as CHP they knew TRNC closely and added, \"The most important point in here is that to bring peace and democracy to TRNC.\" After 1974 Peace Operation, nobody was left hurt in Cyprus and peace arrived to the island, stressed Kilicdaroglu. Furthermore, Parliament Speaker of TRNC Bozer touched on the Cyprus issue and stated that the issue was rooted in history and that it affects the lives of people in all fields. Bozer added, \"Our strongest side comes from being close to agencies and institutions of our Mother country.\"
