Ankara - Anadolu

Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan has said \"it would be better if this process (resolution of Kurdish issue) related to many people works quietly.\" Babacan responded to questions on a Turkish private TV channel on Wednesday. Asked about the recent visit of opposition Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) to PKK head terrorist staying in Imrali prison, leaking of that meeting\'s minutes to press and the process of solution to Kurdish issue, Babacan said, \"solution process is important for Turkey and carefully led by the prime minister. It would be better if this process related to many people works quietly. It becomes so difficult if it is carried out by publicly-announced discussions. I don\'t approve such discussions until the end of the process. There are many dimensions. So we should conduct this multidirectional process quietly.\" \"There are some fractions who say they don\'t bother if (ruling Justice and Development Party) AK Party loses so does Turkey. There is nobody who seeks national interests of this country,\" he said. Babacan also spoke about studies on the new constitution. \"It is impossible to continue the process about the new constitution forever. We want to enter the new era with a new constitution. If we can\'t reach an agreement, AK Party will present its own proposals about the new constitution,\" stated Babacan.
