Turkish foreign minister Ahmet Davutoglu held talks with visiting Arab League secretary general Nabil Al-Araby Saturday on developments in Syria and tension on Turkey-Syria borders. Both men discussed the Syrian opposition and the Syrian commercial aircraft which was forced to land in Turkey by Turkish jets two days ago, Anadolu news agency reported. Al-Araby participated in the Istanbul global Forum earlier and called on the UN Security Council (UNSC) member countries to have a united position regarding the Syrian conflict. He said there must be a change in the veto use mechanism within the UNSC. The Arab League chief also met with Turkish prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and discussed the Syrian crisis.
