
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmed Davutoglu met the ambassodors of European Union member satetes in a lunch given in honor of him by EU Term President Ireland. Speaking at the lunch, Davutoglu touched upon the importance of the relationship between Turkey and EU. \"One swallow does not make a summer\" he said related to opening of the 22nd chapter and defined this step as positive but insufficient in country\'s EU process. Davutoglu also pointed out to the 23rd and 24th chapters and said that Turkey wanted to open new chapters. Turkey began EU accession negotiations back in 2005. It has not had much progress largely because of French and German resistance and Turkey\'s tensions with Cyprus. 22nd Chapter, Regional Policy and Coordination of Structural Instruments, is mainly about reducing socio-economic disparities between the regions. -Cyprus Emphasizing that Turkey was determined for the solution in Cyprus problem, Davutoglu said the attitude of Greek Cypriot administration did not open the way for the solution.\"
