A Turkish army private could be jailed for more than two decades for allegedly leaking classified documents about a terror bombing, an official said Tuesday. Pvt. Utku Kali has been detained since shortly after the bombings in Reyhanli in which 53 people died and dozens were wounded. A military prosecutor said Tuesday he plans to indict Kali for leaking secret military documents about tips received prior to the May 11 attack that has been linked to terrorist groups, Today\'s Zaman reported. The documents claimed that four vehicles with Syrian license plates had been filled with explosives by the Syrian anti-government group al-Nusra Front, which has ties to al-Qaida, and used to attack a Turkish city, the Turkish newspaper Radikal reported. The indictment charges Kali made two copies of classified military documents. He gave one copy to his commander and kept the second, which he sent to a journalist in Istanbul. The prosecutor said Kali could face up to 25 years in prison if convicted. The journalist, who has been identified only by the initials E.P., faces the same charges. The hacker group RedHack published the documents on May 22 but denied receiving them from Kali.
