Turkmen President arrives in Pakistan

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov arrived in Islamabad on Monday on a one-day official visit to Pakistan. Pakistani Foreign Ministry Spokesman said that Berdymukhamedov will hold talks with his Pakistani counterpart Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yusuf Ali Gilani on ways to strengthen relations between the two countries. The two countries' leaders are scheduled to address the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project and the regional security situation.
