
Dr. Obaid Al Hiri Salem Al Ketbi, UAE Ambassador to Australia, has discussed with a number of ministers and members of parliament and Australian government officials in the state of New South Wales.
This came during Al Ketbi's meeting with Stuart Ayers MP, Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events and Minister for Sport, Shelley Hancock MP, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales, Tom Bathurst QC, Chief Justice of New South Wales, John Ajaka MLC, Minister for Aging, Minister for Disability Services and Minister for Multiculturalism, and Don Harwin MLC, President of the Legislative Council of New South Wales.
The UAE Ambassador emphasised the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries. He pointed out that Australia has become an important strategic partner of the country during the past few years.
During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to encourage businessmen from both sides to set up joint development projects, along with a number of topics of mutual interest.
