The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry on Wednesday reiterated its long-term commitment to strategic partnership with Russia, saying that Kiev does not see any prerequisites to terminate its close cooperation with Moscow. \"I think that the relations between Ukraine and Russia are very close both from the historical and current perspective. We have a lot of common fields for cooperation with our neighbors. So I do not see any condition to terminate strategic partnership between Ukraine and Russia,\" Foreign Ministry spokesman Eugene Perebiynis told a news briefing here. Kiev and Moscow will always be strategic partners, Perebiynis emphasized. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry\'s statement comes a day after adviser of Russian President Sergey Glaziev said Ukraine will stop being a strategic partner of Russia should Kiev make the move to sign free trade and political association agreements with the European Union.
