UN Secretary General's Envoy Jamal bin Omar arrived Saturday in Sanaa on a multiple-day visit. The visit aims to follow up on the implementation of the last Security Council resolution on supporting the efforts of President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi and the government, Bin Omar told Yemen's official Saba news agency. The visit also aims to follow up on the issues of the transitional period and the preparation for the dialogue conference and the 2014 elections, he added. "We are exerting a special effort to support the preparation for the national dialogue conference and we will meet with all government and non-government parties," Bin Omar said. He pointed out that he will prepare a new report to be submitted to the Security Council on July 17 on the implementation of its last resolution.
