Adviser to the Secretary General of the United Nations Jamal bin Omar arrived in Sana’a Thursday on a visit to Yemen lasting several days. Bin Omar said that the visit comes within the framework of following up the implementation of the Security Council resolutions No. 2014 and 2051, according to Yemen News Agency (SANA). He said that he will meet and consult with all parties in order to support the preparatory process of the comprehensive national dialogue conference, which is one of the most important steps in the Gulf initiative. Bin Omar stressed the commitment of the United Nations to provide the necessary support and consultation for the success of the national dialogue conference and to push the political process forward for Yemen and its future.
