Undersecretary receives Bahrain fishermen\'s society chairman

 Undersecretary for Agriculture and Marine Resources Shaikh Khalifa bin Isa Al-Khalifa today received Bahrain Fishermen's Society Chairman Jassim Al-Jiran and member Abdulla Jabara.In the meeting, he was briefed on obstacles hampering fishermen, in addition to services which are needed to develop their profession. Bahrain Fishermen's Society Chairman Jassim Al-Jiran and member Abdulla Jabara outlined a number of proposals to achieve food security and optimize marine resources.The undersecretary pledged to convene a big meeting with Bahrain Fishermen's Society to discuss their proposals in deep insight and gauge their demands and needs.He stressed the ministry's keenness on providing them with all facilities and services to develop marine resources and ensure their protection.
