
The UK Foreign Office said it is in contact with Cypriot and Egyptian authorities after a hijacked plane landed at Larnaca Airport in Cyprus on Tuesday, the BBC reported.
The UK Foreign Office released a statement following reports that eight Britons were on board the hijacked plane that was forced to divert to Cyprus.
A spokesman said "We are in contact with the Cypriot and Egyptian authorities after a hijacked plane landed in Cyprus."
