
The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) approved deploying UN police forces in Burundi amid ongoing violence that could turn into an ethnic conflict.
According to the UNSC resolution, the UN police will be deployed in the landlocked African country within 15 days, in cooperation with the country's police and African Union.
