
The United States called Friday on Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych to reach a peaceful resolution and end the bloodshed during a telephone conversation between US Vice President Joe Biden and Yanukovych .The White House released a statement today saying that Biden asked for de-escalate the situation in Ukraine and attending to the protestors viable fears.He also stressed on the importance of holding a dialogue with the opposition to reach a resolution to the crisis.The Ukrainian Interior Ministry said that more than a 100 people were injured during clashes between security forces an protestors.More than 200 in total were injured since the crisis broke out last Sunday. The protests raged in November after the Ukrainian government decided against signing a deal strengthening ties with the European Union.
