The United States on Tuesday affirmed it\'s committed to Egypt\'s democratic transition after the country passing its new constructional referendum. The State Department urged for \"genuine consultation and compromise across Egypt\'s political divides,\" following approval of Egypt\'s new constitution in a new referendum. The State Department called on Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi to move forward with the nation\'s democratic transition \"in a way that bridges divisions, build trust, and broaden support forth political process.\" \"Egypt\'s future depends not on the ability of one side to prevail over the other, but on the commitment of all to engage in an inclusive process to negotiate their difference - on the constitution and on the laws implementing it and to find a path forward\", the State Department said.
