
The U.S. Department of State has condemned the assassination of the MP and member of the National Dialogue Conference, Abdul-Karim Jadban, in Sana’a last Friday and the frequent violence acts in Yemen. In its statement, The U.S. Department of State also condemned the clashes in Dammaj area of Saada province, and urged all parties to abide by the cease-fire permanently and to stop restriction of movement of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and allow it to enter into the area to treat the wounded who needed urgent medical services. The statement called on all parties to stay away from fueling tensions and conflicts in the present time and during this critical historical moment experienced by the political transition in Yemen. The United States expressed its firm commitment to support the Yemeni people, who is moving towards the completion of the comprehensive national dialogue and moving forward through peaceful means to the historical democratic transformation .
