US: Morsi\'s speech empty from significant specific steps

The US Department of State voiced Wednesday concerns over current political situation in Egypt referring to speech delivered by the now former President Mohamed Morsi did not include definite steps to listen to the Egyptian People. \"We feel there was an absence of significant specific steps in Morsi\'s statement.\" spokeswoman for the US Department of State Jen Psaki said. \"He must do more to be truly responsive to the concerns of the Egyptian people.\" she added. Earlier this week, President Obama appeared to encourage protesters by publicly urging Morsi to consider \"other options\" for dealing with the popular unrest, she added. Asked about military coup in Egypt, Psaki said \"We believe all sides need to take steps to talk to each other and to lower the level of violence,\" said Psaki on Wednesday.
