US renews its support to unity, security and stability of Yemen

The US ambassador to Yemen, Gerald M. Feierstein, confirmed on Wednesday his country\'s support to unity, security and stability of Yemen. This came during a meeting gathered him with Minister of Defense Maj. Gen. Mohmmed Nasser Ahmed, during which they discussed aspects of bilateral military cooperation and the fruitful partnership between the two friendly countries and ways of developing them, especially in exchanging expertise and counter-terrorism fields. The Defense Minister that Yemen is consolidating its security and stability in the right direction through adopting the national dialogue as a national principle and trend. He valued the good efforts made by the US ambassador in strengthening the cooperation relations and the distinct partnership between Yemen and the United State of America. For his part, the ambassador expressed his happiness for the growing relations of cooperation and constructive partnership between the two friendly armies and peoples, noting that it is a strong partnership and serves the stability and peace in the region.
