US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton arrived in the Vietnamese capital of Hanoi Tuesday on a two-day official visit aims at bolstering bilateral relations. During the visit, the State Secretary will hold talks with Vietnamese Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh, local media reported. She will also meet Premier Nguyen Tan Dung and General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Nguyen Phu Trong. Clinton, along with American businessmen, will attend a meeting which will be held by the United States Council for International Business (USCIB) and the Association of South-East Asian Nations (ASEAN), known as US-ASEAN Business Council. The US Secretary of State will also engage in a number of academic activities such as attending the 20th anniversary of the Fulbright Scholarships at the Hanoi University of Foreign Trade.
