
US Secretary of State John Kerry urged the Syrian Opposition factions to take a positive decision in their meeting today and participate in the Geneva 2 Conference in Switzerland, adding that the coming meeting would discuss the formation of a transitional government to run their war-torn country.All factions of the Syrian opposition have yet to decide whether to send representatives to the international conference on Syria – Geneva-2-, scheduled to be held in Montreuil, Switzerland, on January 22.In a statement, Mr. Kerry voice his country’s stance, saying that the United States calls for a positive vote regarding the participation in the forthcoming Geneva-2 Conference.
