US to send 250 more military trainers to Syria

US President Barack Obama Monday will announce plans to send additional 250 military personnel to Syria to help local forces fighting the Daesh terrorist group, the Wall Street Journal newspaper revealed.
US officials said that this move will increase the total number of American military personnel operating on the ground inside Syria from 50 to about 300, according to the American newspaper.
US troops in Syria are mandated to advise and assist Syrian rebel and anti-Daesh forces, the newspaper reported.
