
Violent activities have increased in Nepal as the strike called by CPN-Maoist-led 33-party alliance that opposes Nov. 19 election entered its second day on Tuesday. There are hundreds cases of violence across the country. Nepal Army has disposed of the bombs planted at the different parts of the country. Security agencies are still not clear whether the CPN- Maoist-led alliance is planting the bombs or there are other groups behind such cases. On Tuesday, Banda supporters attacked a micro bus at the capital with a petrol bomb injuring one child. As the bombs are being recovered at the different parts of the country, it has created a sense of fear and insecurity across the country. On Monday, over 10 bombs were disposed by a team of Nepal Army. There are also cases that public buses were set ablaze while drivers were sleeping inside. Nepal Army has been deployed on the streets of Kathmandu but people fear to open shops, schools and run public vehicles.
