
Director General of the Vocational Training Corporation (VTC) Majid Habashneh met with the Vice-President of the Korean International Cooperation Agency, (KOICA) Jang Hyun Sik, on the sidelines of the Korean official’s visit to Jordan. During his visit, he checked on the progress of work on the vocational training capacity building project at the Jordanian-Korean Technology Institute. The VTC is implementing the project at training institutes in the cities of Zarqa and Maan with the support of KOICA. Habashneh reviewed the strategy of the corporation, its message, and activities as well as the training it offers in cooperation with the private sector. He also praised the efforts of the Korean government and the KOICA, noting that cooperation between the VTC and KOICA is a success story. The Korean official praised accomplishments made so far regarding the $5 million project and voiced willingness to continue cooperation to implement future projects in the Kingdom.
