Yemen calls for mobilizing international efforts to combat terrorism

Yemen has called for gathering the international efforts to combat terrorism. This came in Yemen\'s speech, which was delivered the political official of Yemeni delegation to the United Nation Dr. Tareq Mutahar at the Counter-Terrorism Coordinators Conference held I the Swiss capital Geneval during (June 13-14 ). Mutahar stressed the need to confront terrorism and enhance the regional cooperation and mobilize the efforts to support Yemen in addressing the terrorism that benefits from the difficult economic conditions experienced by Yemen since early 2011 as well as the high rate of unemployment amid youth and women. He pointed that Yemen is witnessing a sound political transition, noting the initial results of the National Dialogue Conference. Moreover, Mutahar mentioned that the government has formed a ministerial committee to develop a comprehensive national dialogue to combat terrorism, reviewing the areas of cooperation between Yemen and the Counter-terrorism Executive Department of the UN Security Council in this aspect.
