
Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi met on Thursday with head of delegation the European Union, French ambassador, and Deputy ambassador of the United Kingdom to Yemen. During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between Yemen , France ,Britain and the European Union and ways of enhancing them. In the meeting, al-Qirbi was briefed on the interim agreement that was reached between Iran and the Group 5 +1 countries on Iran's nuclear file for six months, which was held in Geneva, headed by Iranian Foreign Minister and High Representative for Foreign Affairs in the European Union and with the participation of foreign ministers of the Group countries on 23 November,2013. At the meeting, al-Qirbi renewed Yemen’s welcome for the agreement between the EU and Iran, expressing his hope that the agreement contributes to achieving security and stability in the region. and a beginning of an agreement to make the Middle East free of nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction, including nuclear weapons of Israel. The foreign minister reaffirmed the right of states to the peaceful use of nuclear energy.
