Yemen is to partake in the Urban Development Conference scheduled to be held in the Moroccan capital Rabat on March 18 -19, with the participation of Arab States. Deputy Minister of Local Administration – Head of the Yemeni delegation to the conference – Abdul Raqeeb Saif Fateh told Saba upon leaving Sana’a on Sunday that the conference, which is organized by the World Bank, will discuss a number of issues and topics on the urban development and its basis and how to develop it and facilitating access to services for citizens via localities. Yemen will participate through a working paper on the urban development and how to activate the local governance, Fateh said pointing that he will meet on sidelines of the conference with a number of Arab delegation participating in the conference to discuss the cooperation relations.
