Yemen signs MoU with office of the UN high commissioner for refugees

The National Commission for Refugees Affairs and the UN Higher Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding regarding asylum and migration from the Horn of Africa. The MoU, which was signed by Deputy Foreign Minister and Head of the National Commission for Refugees Affairs, Dr. Ali Muthanna Hassan, and the Representative of the UNHCR in Yemen Naveed Hussein, aims to support the Regional Conference for Asylum and Migration from the Horn of Africa to Yemen to be held in Sana\'a during September this year. The two sides expressed their satisfaction for the high level of cooperation and coordination reached between the Commission and the UNHCR in managing the issues of asylum and migration in Yemen.
