Yemeni chief of staff, Chinese ambassador discuss military cooperation

Chief of General Staff Ahmed al-Ashwal discussed here on Sunday with Chinese ambassador to Yemen Chang Hwa the bilateral military cooperation. Al-Ashwal and Hwa reviewed the cooperation relations between the two countries\' armies, particularly in training and exchange of expertise and experiences fields. The Chief of General Staff underlined the Yemen\'s keenness to strengthen Yemeni-Chinese relations in all fields. Hwa expressed the Chinese Defense Ministry\'s readiness to provide all aspects of support for the Yemeni army through technical assistance and specialized scholarships and training courses. The Chinese ambassador reiterated his country\'s support for the unity, security and stability of Yemen.
