
Yemeni Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi on Friday headed to New York to participate in the 68th Session of the United Nations General Assembly which will kick off there next Tuesday. Al-Qirbi will address the session and deal with the latest developments taking place in Yemen in various fields. He will chair over the sixth ministerial meeting of the Group of Friends of Yemen slated for New York for next Wednesday to discuss the political , economic and security situation in Yemen and the donor states\'s pledges concerning Yemen. He also will participate in the meeting to be held by the UN Security Council on Friday about the latest developments in Yemen to listen to the report of the UN secretary-general\'s special envoy to Yemen, Jamal bin Omar on these developments, particularly the progress made in the comprehensive national dialogue conference.
