Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi reviewed on Wednesday with British Minister of State for International Development Alan Duncan bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries. During a meeting held in London, al-Qirbi briefed Duncan on the developments in Yemen and the activities of the national dialogue, presenting an overview of the fields of joint cooperation between Yemen and Britain, especially with regard to the development side and the rehabilitation of the Aden refineries and harbor. The British official praised the role played by President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi in order to make a better future for Yemen and Yemenis. Meanwhile, al-Qirbi met in London UK deputy National Security Adviser Oliver Robbins. During their meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries In addition, they reviewed the possibility of opening a consular section of the British embassy in Sana’a for issuing visas to Yemeni citizens wishing to visit the United Kingdom.
