Yemeni FM meets with US ambassador

Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi met on Wednesday with the U.S. ambassador to Yemen,Gerald Firestein. The meeting touched on the bilateral relations and areas of cooperation between the two countries, as well as the developments in the National Dialogue Conference. Al-Qirbi explained that the dialogue conference has achieved noticeable successes despite the difficulties and challenges that faced the dialogue conference. In the meeting, the U.S. ambassador expressed his extreme appreciation for the wonderful results achieved by the dialogue conference. He noted that the sponsors and supporters of the Gulf initiative are closely following up the successes and they are ready to present any assistance to Yemenis for driving Yemen to safety.
