
Interior Minister Abdul-Qader Qahtan met here on Thursday with Djiboutian ambassador to Yemen Mohammed Hersi. During the meeting, Qahtan and Hersi discussed cooperation relations and security coordination between the two countries and ways of enhancing them. The Interior Ministry underlined the Ministry's keenness to strengthen the bilateral relations in the security field. The Djiboutian ambassador offered condolences of the government and people of Djibouti on the victims of the terrorist crime that targeted Defense Ministry Compound's Hospital last Thursday and led to the death and injury of hundreds of military and civilians. Hersi valued highly the facilities and cooperation, the Interior Ministry provides to the Djiboutian embassy and community in Yemen. On the other hand, the Interior Ministry reviewed charge d'affaires of the Iranian Embassy in Sana'a Murtaza Abdeen the cooperation relations between Yemen and Iran. The Minister underscored the Yemen's adherence to follow up the issue of the kidnapped Iranian diplomat. The Iranian diplomat offered condolences of the Iranian government and people on the victims of the terrorist attack on the Defense Ministry's Hospital last Thursday.
