Yemeni minister, French ambassador discuss security coordination

Interior Minister Abdul-Qader Qahtan discussed here on Monday with French ambassador to Yemen Frank Julie the bilateral security coordination relations. Qahtan and Julie also reviewed the ways to enhance the security cooperation in areas of expertise and information exchange, training, countering terrorism and organized crime. The Minister expressed Yemen\'s keenness to strengthen the mutual relations, valuing the assistances France provides to the security authorities in Yemen. Julie stressed his government\'s adherence to provide further support for the Yemeni security services, particularly in the areas of training and information technology, so that they can reinforce the country\'s security and stability.
