
Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Basindwa on Monday received a phone call from Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu. During the phone conversation, the Turkish Minister expressed his country\'s strong condemnation of the criminal incident by anonymous armed men shot the Prime Minister\'s motorcade on Saturday evening. Davutoglu wished Basindwa continuous good health and happiness to carry on his national duties to serve the people of Yemen, and contribute to succeed the ongoing transitional stage. Moreover, they discussed the brotherly relations between the two countries and bilateral security cooperation, particularly in respect of the Turkish arm shipments that have been seized in Yemen. The Turkish Minister underscored that his government has taken decisive measures to prevent any smuggling of weapons from Turkey to Yemen. The Premier expressed his gratitude for the sincere feelings of the Turkish Foreign Minister, expressing high appreciation of the development aid Turkey provides to Yemen as well as the Turkish leadership, government and people\'s permanent support for the Yemeni people.
