Yemen\'s deputy FM meets UNHCR representative

Yemeni Deputy Foreign Minister Dr. Ali Muthanna Hassan, who is also Chairman of the National Committee for Refugee Affairs, met in Sana\'a today with Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Yemen Nafeez Hussein. During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation and coordination between the National Committee for Refugees Affairs and the UNHCR regarding conditions of refugees in Yemen and coordination to solve asylum problems. Meanwhile, the Islamic Relief Organization\'s Regional Director for the Middle East and Eastern Europe Dr. Mohammed Al-Soussi said the Organization is ready to support and develop the work of its office in Yemen and to provide it with the necessary requirements. Al-Soussi,, who is currently visiting Yemen, said during a ceremony held by the organization in Sana\'a, the organization is working with all partners to provide relief and humanitarian services in Yemen. He pointed out that his visit to Yemen aims to get familiarized with the humanitarian and developmental services provided by the Organization in light of the expansion of its activities , as well as to meet officials of a number of international organizations working in Yemen to coordinate among themselves to provide different humanitarian services.
