Authorities in Zambia on Wednesday announced the arrest of three foreigners who were found with 10,000 U.S. dollars counterfeit notes.
Among those arrested included a Liberian businessman and two Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) nationals who were found with 10,000 dollars in 100 dollar bills, according to the Drug Enforcement Commission.
The trio, who live in Zambia as businessmen, were arrested by the anti-drug agency's anti-money laundering unit.
