Zardari invites Qatari businessmen to invest in Pakistan

Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari at a meeting here today with a number of the Qatari businessmen and representatives of the private sector has invited Qatari businessmen to invest in his country, Deputy Chairman of Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) Mohammed bin Towar Al Kuwari said. Following the meeting, Mohammed bin Towar Al Kuwari said in a statement that the Pakistani President reviewed the investment environment there and incentives offered by the economic legislation and tax breaks attractive environment for foreign investment. He explained that during the meeting, they exchanged information on the identification of industrial sectors and economic optimization of Qatari businessmen in Pakistan, and exchange of the two countries’ businessmen visits to view possible joint projects and means to promote them. Bin Towar said the Pakistani President’s visit to Qatar is important and reflected the Pakistani officials interest in promoting economic relations and creating opportunities for foreign investment.
