Two Afghan policemen were killed and five others wounded in a bomb explosion in eastern Afghanistan.
Governor of Khogyani district in Eastern Nangarhar province Niamatullah Noorzai, said that the incident took place in Khogyani district last night.
He said that insurgents placed the bomb near to a security checkpoint, adding that two from Afghan local police were killed and five others were wounded in the explosion.
No group has claimed responsibility for the explosion but in the past Taliban insurgents have claimed responsibility for most of the attacks on security forces.
