Yemeni army foils Houthi attempt to advance towards Taiz

The Yemeni army and resistance groups foiled on Thursday an attempt by the Houthi militants to advance towards Taiz governorate.
The Houthi attack was successfully repelled, resistance sources said.
The Yemeni army caused heavy losses to the Houthi militants.
Speaking about Wednesday's clashes, the military council in Taiz said they left 12 Houthi militants and four resistance elements dead.
Two other civilians were killed and several others wounded in the attacks, the council added.
