HE Minister of Youth and Sports Salah Ghanim al-Ali said that the 29th meeting of their Highnesses and Excellencies, Ministers of Youth and Sports was very distinguished successful and included all activities that serve the youth of the Gulf and contribute to the development of youth and sports".
HE the Minister said in a statement today that all participants of the meeting emphasized a strong support for Qatar organizing the 2022 World Cup as a matter that pleases and honours all the Arabs and not Qatar only." He added that the 2022 World Cup is very important for the region and for all the young people as it will leave us an important legacy. HE the Minister praised the GCC States full support for Qatar hosting the World Cup 2022, saying its a pride for all of us.
HE the Minister said that Qatar had also presented the experience of the Josoor (Bridge) Institute as a Centre of Excellence for the sports and events industries, which aims to nurture and engage talented people who are beginning or advancing their careers in the management and organisation of sporting and non-sporting events within Qatar, the Middle East and North Africa region.
