A total of 13 Palestinian demonstrators were injured on Friday during clashes with Israeli soldiers near the border between northeast Gaza Strip and Israel, Gaza medics said. Nine of the Palestinians were lightly to moderately injured by Israeli soldiers' live ammunition and four others were lightly injured by the teargas canisters, according to the medics. Dozens of Palestinian young men from Gaza staged their weekly demonstration near the borderline in northeastern Gaza Strip, waving Palestinian flags and chanting slogans against Israel. The protests organized every Friday are against a 300-meter- deep no-go security zone that the Israeli army established on the borders with Gaza and Israel's more than seven-years' blockade on the territory.
