
The Iraqi police head office in Diyala said on Saturday that 18 Daesh militants were killed while seven rockets destroyed near Iraq's eastern borders with Iran.
The seven rockets were carrying the Chlorine toxic element, the Iraqi News Agency (INA) quoted Diyala's police chief Jamil Al Shamry as saying.
The deceased militants included senior Daesh field commanders in Muqdadiyah city, Diyala Province, Al Shamry added.
The destroyed rockets were set for launch in a bid to target Iraqi cities, he said, adding, a vehicle was also destroyed in the campaign.
