
The Ministry of Justice announced on Saturday that the Legalization Department and its subsidiaries issued 1,883 marriage and divorce documents for illegal residents between last January and September, in cooperation with the Central Agency to address the situation of illegal residents.
Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice for real Estate and Documentation Affairs Dr. Bader Al-Zamanan told KUNA that the concerned department has issued 1,419 marriage documents, 418 divorce certificates and 46 other marital documents for illegal residents during the first nine months of the current year.
He stated that the total number of official notifications registered for the illegal residents category in the country during the same period amounted to 9,647, in addition to 150 inheritance documents.
