19 parliament committees formed to review previous laws

The House of Representatives agreed on Monday to form 19 subcommittees under Speaker Ali Abdel Aal to discuss the decree laws that had been issued in the absence of the parliament.
The subcommittees should end their task on Saturday.
Earlier in the day, the speaker announced the formation of five committees to review the laws and sixth committee to draft the internal statute. However, some lawmakers objected to the decision.
Lawmaker Serry Siam proposed to distribute the decree laws, issued in the absence of the parliament, to the 19 subcommittees.
