
Two Algerians were arrested Thursday at a refugee shelter during anti-terrorism raids carried out by the police in Berlin, Sky News cited a statement by the police as saying.
The two men are suspected of joining Daesh terrorist group.
Two other Algerian men are sought by the police. The four suspects are believed to be “planning a violent act intended to seriously damage the state”, the statement added.
The first suspect was trained to use weapons in Syria while the other one faces charges of fraud in records, the statement noted.
