Minya security forces raided two workshops in Samalout and Beni Mazar for illegally manufacturing arms.
The owners of two places were arrested in the raids.
Police seized with the detainees a pistol, homemade gun, 3 shotguns and tools used in the manufacturing.
They confessed the possession of the two sites saying arms trafficking was the purpose of their illegal work.
Meantime, a crackdown on outlaws in Minya city resulted in arresting 13 criminals possessing 17 weapons and 40 bullets.
