
The Ministry of Interior said in a statement issued today that Pakistani Abrar Hussein Nizar Hussein was executed in Jeddah in Makkah region today for smuggling a quantity of narcotic heroin inside his intestines into the Kingdom, and that Pakistani Zahid Khan Barakat Khan was executed in Qatif Governorate in the Eastern region today for smuggling a large quantity of heroin. The Ministry said that the two smugglers confessed their crimes; the General Court convicted the smugglers; the sentences were endorsed by Appeal Court and Supreme Court; and royal orders were issued to execute the sentences. The Ministry of Interior affirms that the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is keen on combating narcotics due to their great harm to individuals and the society, and it warns anyone who tries to commit such actions that he will be punished according to Sharia.
