fighters killed Two members of the popular mobilization were killed and five others were wounded on Wednesday in clashes with the IS northeast of Baquba.
A security source told the National Iraqi News Agency / Nina / that violent clashes were erupted with the IS militants in Tawakul village, north of Muqdadiyah northeast of Baquba, which resulted in the killing of two fighters from the popular mobilization and wounding five others.
Police chief in Diyala Gen. Jamil al-Shammari announced, earlier in the day, cleansing the villages of Nofal and Bablan northern of Muqdadiya district from the IS militants completely, and confirmed the killing of 15 elements of them and destroying four vehicles belonging to them.
