
Five people, including two soldiers were killed in an attack by Houthi militants on a security checkpoint near a government building in the northern governorate of Al-Jawf on Friday.The attack and the ensuing exchange of fire left four others wounded, local sources said, noting that one of the attackers was arrested, including two soldiers injured in an exchange of fire with Houthi militants on Friday.The office of Al-Jawf governor condemned, in a press the release, the recurrent attacks on the military and security personnel and the guards of the government building. The statement urged all Yemenis to protect the rule of law, the state stature and the constitution in the framework of the principles agreed in the recent national dialogue.
